REVEREND DARRYL P. GOULD. SR, D.MIN.
Senior Pastor
Pastor Darryl P. Gould, Sr., is a native of Baltimore, MD. On June 1, 2016, he was elected to serve as the 3rd Pastor of Gillis Memorial Christian Community Church in Baltimore, MD.
Gillis is a tremendous church with a rich history that is continually growing and seeking to make disciples for Jesus Christ.
Pastor Gould was licensed to preach in December 1992 and ordained in August 1998 at Shiloh. Prior to being elected as the Pastor of Gillis, he served for 16 years as Assistant to the Pastor at Shiloh Christian Community Church under the leadership of his Father in Ministry, Pastor Jimmy C. Baldwin, Sr. During his tenure at Shiloh; Rev. Gould was blessed to serve as Interim Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church in York, Pennsylvania. Friendship grew tremendously in membership and ministry during his tenure there.
Pastor Gould is a Summa Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Coppin State University (Baltimore, Maryland). He earned the Master of Divinity Degree with honors from Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University (Richmond, Virginia).
Pastor Gould earned a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio. He is the loving husband to Nicole Gould. He is the very proud and dedicated father of his handsome sons Darryl Jr. and Dajuan Gould. Pastor Gould's prayer is that all persons will come to experience the love of Jesus Christ and receive Him as Savior.
